Besides the CHIRP sonar, you will be able to unleash the power of the StructureScan. StructureScan is like the Side Imaging Sonar where you will be able to see photo-like images of what’s beneath your boat on both sides. The details are very clear, crisp and sharp. You will see the natural structure, boats, automobiles, school of bait fishes will be shown once the sonar returns to the device.
How To Read Side imaging readings?
Side imaging is quite different than typical sonar systems. A conventional sonar system will move from right to bottom, but the side imaging will show move from top to bottom. The most recent reading will be on the upper part of the display while the bottom is the history of sonar readings. Usually, the boat location is at the top middle point.
